Since July 1, 2023, a new verification requirement has applied to all marketplaces.

This means that your offers and products in the corresponding EAR (Waste Electrical Equipment Register) categories must have a WEEE number (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment), either your own number or that of the original distributor.

All information about registration can be found directly at the stiftung elektro-altgeräte register.

In order for your offers to continue to be available on the Conrad Marketplace, the following settings must be made in the product and offer file as well as in the shop account:

 

Offers

1. Manufacturer ID
Für For the EPR category electrical and electronic devices (ElektroG)
You must provide a WEEE number for all relevant offers here. This can either be your own number or that of the original distributor.

Products

In addition to this native field, we provide you with two additional fields on the product that must be maintained for verification.

2. ElektroG (DE) brand like EAR registration

This field is a free text field with a maximum length of 120 characters. Please enter the exact brand for the product here, which is also registered with the EAR Foundation. Any deviations in spelling will result in the offer being blocked.

3. ElektroG (DE) category

DiThis field is a list of values that contains all official device categories from the EAR Foundation. Information on the affected electrical appliance categories can be found here

Conclusion:

The WEEE number is provided with the offer. Brand and category on the product.

The combination of all three attributes is checked against the EAR interface.

If check results are positive, your offers will be sent to the shop as usual. If negative feedback comes, we are not allowed to display your offers and they will therefore not be available in our shop.
